Until now, DiliTrust clients who needed electronic signatures could connect their preferred tool through the Dilistore Signature hub: DocuSign, Adobe Sign, YouSign, UniverSign. Users could sign documents from the Board Portal and Entity Management modules with an internal tool, but not connecting those modules to the DiliTrust e-Signature hub.
The platform was the orchestration layer, but the signature was handled somewhere else.
This is about to change with DiliTrust Sign, DiliTrust’s own native e-signature solution. The feature is built in-house, fully embedded in the platform, and will be available to all clients by default. With DiliTrust Sign, DiliTrust will no longer just connect clients to signature providers; it will also offer its own native e-signature solution.
How it works
DiliTrust Sign is designed to handle the full signing workflow without requiring users to leave the platform. Unlike third-party providers that process documents on their own infrastructure, DiliTrust Sign keeps the signing workflow within the DiliTrust platform, from the signing request to the Certificate of Completion.
What is included
Previously, Board Portal and Legal Entity Management users weren’t able to decide on signature placement. This was one of the features most requested by clients, and it is now built into every signing workflow.
DiliTrust Sign operates at the Simple Electronic Signature (SES) level under the EU eIDAS Regulation. SES cannot be denied legal effect solely because it is electronic, but the appropriate signature level depends on the document, jurisdiction, and applicable requirements.
Included in your tools at no extra charge
DiliTrust Sign is available to all clients by default. No activation step, no separate subscription, no configuration required. No separate subscription or activation step will be required. Once it launches, users will be able to send documents for signature directly from DiliTrust.
Other platforms have moved in the same direction, often making native signature a paid add-on or a separate module requiring activation. DiliTrust Sign is part of the platform at no extra charge.
For use cases that require a higher level of assurance, support for Advanced Electronic Signatures (AES) remains available through the DiliTrust e-Signature hub, which connects to certified third-party providers. This applies across all DiliTrust modules: clients using the Board Portal or Legal Entity Management can also connect their preferred provider through the hub for workflows that require AES.
DiliTrust Sign covers the daily signing needs; the hub covers the cases where AES is required.
