Finding specific data across hundreds of legal entities, mandates, and individuals used to require several navigation steps. You’d open a record, check a field, cross-reference a mandate, and start again. With Lini now available in full-screen mode within the Legal Entity Management (LEM) module, you can ask your question in plain language and get the answer immediately. This first iteration covers three key entity types: companies, individuals, and mandates.
What you can ask Lini
Lini answers questions about three entity types.
Companies: search by name, legal form, country of incorporation, or share capital. Results are returned alphabetically by company name.
Individuals: query contact information and associated mandates. Results are also returned alphabetically by name.
Mandates: search by status, position title, attendee, or mandate dates. Results are sorted by Attendee, then by Position, then by Status. Within Status, Ongoing mandates appear first, then Expired, then Ended.
Ask things like “Which companies are incorporated in Germany?” or “What mandates does Marie Dupont currently hold?” LINI reads plain business language and doesn’t require technical field names. You can also search mandates by position title (Director, CEO, Chairman) and get a filtered list in seconds.
How to access it
Log in to DiliTrust and navigate to the LEM module. Click Lini in the main menu, type your question in the chat input, and review the response. You can refine the question at any time if the first answer isn’t quite right.
Two things must be in place first:
If you don’t see Lini in the menu, contact your administrator.
Getting the most out of Lini
Two habits will make a noticeable difference.
First, teams must be specific. For instance “All ongoing mandates for John Smith” returns better results than “show me the mandates”. Second, teams must use natural business language as it was built for it. There’s no need to know field names or database terminology, Lini understands the way legal and compliance talk about entities and mandates.
Finally, searching by position title works well, Ask for all Directors or all CEOs across your entities and LINI will filter accordingly. No special syntax needed.
What this version covers and what’s next
This is the first iteration designed to handle the most common entity queries quickly and accurately, so certain areas are out of scope:
If Lini can’t find an answer it will say so clearly. You can try rephrasing your question or verifying that the relevant data exists in the system. A red banner will appear in case of a backend error.
To get started, ask your DiliTrust administrator to enable Lini for your organization. Data must be populated in the system for Lini to return results. Full documentation, including example queries, step-by-step guidance, and troubleshooting tips, is available on Freshdesk.
